GEMSTONE – purity, love, and protection

Be wowed by this ceramic necklace, created exclusively for Hotel L’Europe’s ‘T Huys in Amsterdam. Designed by Anouk and Bibi van der Velden, this one-of-a-kind grand sculpture necklace draws inspiration from the gemstones and shells that Bibi uses in her jewelry designs, incorporating elements of the ocean. 

The necklace features a significant Pearl bead, representing purity, love, and luck, which we hope to bestow upon every guest who visits the room. The Tulip is a nod to Amsterdam’s love, while Malachite, one of Bibi’s preferred stones, offers protection against negative energy and danger. 

The necklace is proudly on display in the Bibi van der Velden suite at Hotel L’Europe.
